Let's face it, Larry the Cat has been the only dependable personality at Number 10 Downing Street for the last fifteen years. As "Mouser in Chief," Larry has been more popular than most British politicians and has lasted at Number 10 longer than any of them, He has seen five prime ministers come and go in that time. Today, that number rose to six! "Sir" Keir Starmer announced his resignation as British Prime Minister today, although he will stay on until the Labour Party chooses another leader, who will then become Prime Minister in Starmer's place. That person will probably be Andy Burnham, formerly mayor of Greater Manchester whose election as an MP for Makerfield last week put the final nail in Starmer's political coffin, as Burnham stated that if elected to Parliament he would challenge Starmer for leadership of the Labour Party. Just as an aside, the word "gift" translates into German as "poison." And poisonous the Epstein files are!  Jeffrey Epstein was the shady billionaire who acted as financial advisor, piggy bank, fixer and pimp to the world's celebrities, the rich, the powerful and international political acrobats. Epstein died in police custody in 2019. His death was promptly ruled a suicide. It probably wasn't. Too many people the world over would sleep more easily if their relationships with the convicted pedophile were silenced by his death. Furthermore, the night of his death, two of the three closed-circuit cameras set to monitor his section of the jail in New York City were either not functioning or turned off! Further still, the security guards that were to monitor Epstein later changed and falsified their records that night!
