Tea and Vitriol

  Woke progressive liberals the world over had a hissy fit when Donald Trump won a second, non-consecutive term as President of the United States.  It was not because he is a megalomaniacal, crude, rude and abrasive loudmouth. President Trump IS all of those things, but he is first and foremost an American, and proud of it. That's what bothers our erstwhile friends and foes alike. President Trump has campaigned on promoting a protectionist "America First" policy, which is a slap in the face of the globalists who were hoping for a continuation of the political, social and economic perversion of Bidenism under Sloppy Joe's brainless second banana, Kamelhead Harris. They were counting on the US piggy bank to be forever open for them upon demand, never mind the disastrous effects such "charity" was having on the American economy. Trump's "second coming" spelled an end to that, much to their displeasure and to that of well-meaning but sadly ignorant...

Every year on February 2 in America, Americans worship marmots. Marmots are called groundhogs or woodchucks here. They are supposedly imbued with the mystical ability to predict an early end to winter. If a groundhog sees its shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If not, winter ends sooner. The news media makes much ado about this bit of folklore, posting film crews outside of various groundhog's lairs, trying to lure them out of hibernation to record whether or not they see their shadows. This act of animal abuse has made several American marmots famous, like Punxsutawney Phil of Pennsylvania. Outside of providing Americans with a bit of fun during the winter, whether or not a groundhog sees its shadow has no effect on the weather whatsoever. Most thinking people don't take it seriously.  2024 has been an exciting year for the entire world. That is not to say that it has been a pleasant one for many people. The western "democracies" began to reject the poisonous woke progressive liberalism that they have succumbed to for more than a decade, much to the dismay of the parasites that have profited from it. While the ultimate expression of this rejection was the re-election of Donald Trump to a non-consecutive term as president of the United States, such a shift has been taking place in the world long before the November election. Merry Christmas! If my wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas" causes woke progressive liberals to have apoplectic fits, well tant pis  to them. Because it IS Christmas, and even their tortured attempts to impose greetings of "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" has worn out its welcome. The US mid-term elections are over. The much anticipated "Red Tide," where the GOP would sweep national, state and local elections proved to be only so much hype. Though many races in dyed in the wool Blue states were close, too many Americans refused to reject the politically progressive perversion known as Bidenism. True, the Republicans will take control of the House of Representatives, while as of this writing there are still five Senate seats undecided. While GOP control of the House merely removes that Nancy Pelosi creature as Speaker of the House, and good riddance to her, she still remains a representative for her district in California, which means that she will continue to be a gadfly in the body politic of the US, though of lesser importance than previously. At this writing, we are three weeks away from the mid-term elections for 2022. The GOP is well poised to win control of Congress and ending the revolting specter of Bidenism in US politics, reducing Biden himself to the status of an ineffectual "lame duck" president two years before the end of his term. As it is, our government has become the laughingstock of the world, even among our closest allies. Our enemies regard the US as a clown show and clearly no longer either fear or respect us anymore. It's easy to see why. Our president is a senile horse's ass, walking around in a perpetual fog. He is supposedly the most powerful man in the world, which is plenty scary. The world has clearly gone mad. The war in Ukraine, where Putin is playing the bully, has become the world's latest spectator blood sport, with most nations crying "shame," imposing sanctions, sending the beleaguered Ukrainians money and weapons but not really otherwise involving themselves. Here in the United States, we see the Biden regime collapsing owing to the ineptitude of the administration, its inability to exhibit any sort of leadership and the corruption within the Biden family as more of the First Son's criminal activity is finally being exposed by the same liberal news media that spent years denying it and covering it up. Nude photos and videos of the First Son engaged in sex acts and drug use, while not even good pornography, are merely a sideshow, yet they reveal the moral turpitude of a regime long protected and supported by progressive Democrat politicians. In their euphoria over Tuesday's  national rejection of the hideous Democratic political philosophy known as "Bidenism," the Monroe County, NY GOP seems to have taken leave of their senses. One of the local proponents of Bidenism is none other than Congressman Joe Morelle, a long-time professional career politician and head honcho of the elitist faction of the local Democratic Party. Morelle is anathema to local Republicans and quite a few Democrats, especially minority Democrats. One of his acolytes lost their election bid on Tuesday to Republicans. That one was his own son, Little Joe. Morelle pere  comes up for re-election to the 25th congressional district next year.
