Merry Christmas to All! There, I've Said It!


Merry Christmas!

If my wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas" causes woke progressive liberals to have apoplectic fits, well tant pis to them.

Because it IS Christmas, and even their tortured attempts to impose greetings of "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" has worn out its welcome.

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of a child more than two thousand years ago in Bethlehem who held the promise of peace, brotherhood and salvation from eternal damnation.

Christianity is the dominant religion in Europe, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand, with pockets of tens of millions more Christians throughout the world.

Usually, it is in those pockets where Christianity is a minority religion that Christians are faced with oppression.

But what is particularly galling is that where Christianity is the majority religion is under attack by the woke progressive liberal Left, especially the United States.

Here the display of Christian symbols in public places offends the left, so much so that they frequently object to their display in government buildings because it "offends" people of non-Christian persuasions, usually the vast minority of the population.

That includes the greeting of "Merry Christmas."

Because the squeaky wheel always gets the grease, woke progressives usually get their way, as far as government offices and employees are concerned, even though they are in the vast minority of the population.

I liken their behavior regarding Christmas to the reaction of vampires when confronted with the symbol of the Cross.

They fear sentiments regarding religion, tradition and morality because, try as they may, they never really succeed in controlling them and imposing their views on the vast majority in free, democratic societies.

Only in totalitarian regimes can that be reasonably effected, much to the envy of woke progressive liberals, who then call everyone who openly disagrees with them as Fascists and Racists.

The people of the US have gotten tired of listening to their rhetoric, which is based on the destruction of, rather that modifying and adding to, traditional beliefs and values.

The ultimate expression of the majority of US citizens rejecting the moral vacuum of the woke progressive liberals was the defeat of the social, economic and political perversion that is Bidenism in the recent presidential election.

The majority of Americans have had enough of it and the bloviating ignoranuses that promoted it.

True, religion IS flawed, but only because mankind is flawed, but what do the woke progressive liberals have to offer that is better? Their pervasive braying at everyone who disagrees with them?

It's Christmas Eve, here in the US.

I wish everyone a "Merry Christmas."

Russia's President Putin: "Mine is the Power!"

 During President Trump's re-election campaign, he stated that he could end the war in Ukraine in one day. He didn't. But he could have. After his inauguration, President Trump could have told Russia's President Putin to stand down and submit to a peace deal of America's devising or risk the US providing Ukraine with unlimited money, war materiel and means of mass destruction, giving Ukraine permission to use such weapons against Russian territory and civilian targets. Just like Russia is doing to Ukraine. Only he didn't. Instead, Trump demanded that Ukraine come crawling to him to beg his intervention and accept whatever peace plan Trump and Putin would devise, regardless of the long-term consequences. The Presidential Election of 2024: And Lo, There shall Be An Ending!

Yesterday's presidential election in the United States made history. In several different ways, much to the displeasure of woke progressive Democrats. For only the second time in US history, a president was re-elected to a non-consecutive term of office. The first time, Grover Cleveland accomplished that feat in 1892. Donald Trump did it yesterday, despite the tortured efforts of the Democratic National Committee, the corrupt Biden Regime and the equally corrupt Department of Justice to prevent him from running at all! They gambled and lost. And, for the second time in US history did the American people reject a DEI hire for president.
