Oh, Canada! Mark Carney Stands Up to The Donald! Again!
The Donald is up to his old tricks again.
While he fancies himself as Lord God King of the Universe, when crossed The Donald behaves like your typical schoolyard bully: He threatens.
Most of the time his threats are empty because he simply does NOT have the power to realize them, but his threats expose the moral bankruptcy of himself, his crime family and his administration.
When dealing with the war against Iran, which he and Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu started and cannot win, he stated that he was more than willing to commit war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide to win.
Then he stated that he already won the war, which he hasn't.
The world has come to see him as a mentally unstable, pathological liar whose credibility has vanished and cannot be trusted.
And an oversexed, incontinent liar at that, surrounded by a shady group of henchmen and henchwomen wo, like The Donald, have no grasp of economics on any scale, nor history, nor diplomacy or even decency and manners.
His latest stunt involved the trade negotiations with our previously closest partner, Canada.
Canada and the United States have had a long, friendly relationship with intertwined and complimentary economies.
That long and deep friendship resulted in the longest unfortified boundary between two nations in the world!
Tens of thousands of people from both countries cross the border daily for work.
Both countries share a similar demographic as nations of immigrants.
Most Canadians and Americans speak a brand of English as a first language, the exception being French-speaking Quebec.
Then The Donald began his second administration and fucked up the cozy relationship between Canada and the US by announcing publicly that he planned to annex Canada and make it the 51st state!
The Donald also plans to annex Greenland, but that is a different story. For a different time.
The Donald miscalculated here.
While Canada and the US are so similar in many ways, upon closer observation, they ARE different.
Their cultural ties and political structures are more European than that of America.
Canadians are a proud people who were willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with Americans as brothers and equal partners, not poor relations grateful for whatever crumbs Washington throws them as "charity."
The Donald doesn't understand that.
So, when he began his bullying campaign against Canada in 2025, a new Canadian prime minister rose to the occasion to give The Donald the what for.
And The Donald doesn't like it.
Mark Carney, a conservative man possessed of common sense, is a Canadian patriot who had enough of The Donald's patronizing tone.
When The Donald imposed tariffs on Canadian goods, services and products last year, Carney simply reciprocated in kind.
This hurt Americans far more than it hurt Canadians because Carney negotiated trade and defense deals with other countries, making Canada far less dependent on the US.
It also hurt the American weapons industry, since Canada would now be buying from European manufacturers.
Most Canadians, tired of being looked down by The Donald, followed suit by boycotting American products sold in Canada, especially American produce and alcoholic beverages, liquors and wines., with stores and businesses removing those products from their shelves.
This was not a policy of Canada's government, but choices made by individual stores and businesses, and by rank-and-file Canadian consumers.
This hurt American businesses and infuriated The Donald.
Even the tourism industry was affected, with Canadians opting NOT to vacation in the US, effectively causing a drop of 25% in that area and even higher in the New England states.
Carney himself stated the sad fact that old days of friendship and cooperation between Canada and the US were over.
The result was that Canada and the US sat down to renegotiate a trade deal, which The Donald promptly fucked up again by demanding too much of Canada, so Carney called it off last week.
The Donald was pissed and promptly increased tariffs by 50% on some Canadian goods, once again forgetting that it would be American consumers who would be paying the increased prices, while Canadians have already been finding other markets for their goods, products and services.
Then Carney announced that Canada would be reciprocating, putting 50% tariffs on American goods, products and services.
How do you like them Canadian apples, Donald?
Carney has joined the ranks of Spain's Pedro Sanchez, Italy's Giorgia Meloni and Brazil's Ignacio Lula in their defiance of The Donald.
They all told The Donald to go ahead and do his worst.
They are the only world leaders with a set of balls on them.
The other world leaders try to tip-toe around The Donald's temper tantrums and are so weak and frightened of The Donald that they continually kiss his ass and pray that he won't turn his wrath on them.
That hasn't worked.
The only way to deal with a schoolyard bully is to stand up against him.
Mark Carney has.
Canada should be proud of him!
