Let's face it, The Donald's second administration has been an utter failure both domestically and globally. He has been unable to fulfill any of the campaign promises he made. That is NOT unusual among politicians seeking election to public office. However, the promises he made were so exorbitant that his inability to realize them make them even more glaring. So, he lies and tells everyone that his agenda has been successful when everyone can see that he hasn't been. Apart from pissing off friend and foe alike, The Donald's only successes have been to bomb fishing boats in the Caribbean Sea, kidnap Venezuela's Maduro and bully his successor there into submission. He and the Trump Crime Family have also used his position as president to enrich themselves in largely unethical practices of influence peddling, with his son-in-law Jared Kushner as the prime example of this brand of corruption in his administration. The whole world has seen that The Donald and Benny's war against Iran hasn't gone to plan. Despite their tortured efforts to destroy Iran and remake it to suit their own egos and agendas, that hasn't happened and the war, with its death and destruction still goes on. This has infuriated The Donald, who supposedly penned "The Art of the Deal." He expected Iran to capitulate on Day One of his and Benny's war against them, and gratefully accept any deal that he might offer, no matter how humiliating. Only Iran has repeatedly said "No deal!" The Donald knows only how to insult, threaten and intimidate. Those are his methods and they are not working here. His latest bullying tactic was to threaten Iran with "Hell on earth" if they did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz to shipping, specifically the shipping of oil, which the world economy depends upon and 20% of it passes through the Strait of Hormuz.  Apparently, The Donald is a bit confused. As well as pissed. He claimed that the US had already won its war against Iran while the war is still ongoing. Then he "invited" NATO nations to send battleships to protect commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil supply must travel and which Iran has effectively closed off. This has created a global energy crisis. The Persian Gulf region also produces about 40% of the world's fertilizer, the loss of which will undoubtedly result in global food shortages. Actually, The Donald didn't so much as invite NATO nations to participate as to threaten them if they didn't, which is his typical bullying tactic, which has largely worked before.
