Numbnutz Extends the Gun Violence "State of Emergency" in Rochester, New York...For the Ninth Time!

 

The good news is that homicides by gun violence is down in Rochester, New York as compared to last year's figures.

So far.

There were only seven.

So far.

Which is less than half of the number of homicides the City of Rochester has seen this year from stabbings and assaults.

So far.

As of this writing, there have been 34 shooting victims this year who survived.

So far.

It does not include numerous acts of criminality where victims were threatened by guns but were uninjured.

Sort of.

Such as car jackings, burglaries, armed robberies.

So, what has Mayor Mahweak Evans done to combat gun violence in particular and criminality in general in Rochester, New York?

Why, Numbnutz has extended his gun violence "State of Emergency."

For the ninth time!

In less than a year.

Since July 21, 2022.

Which will supposedly give Shitty Hall "broad powers to protect life and property," which hasn't worked since he first declared this "State of Emergency" last summer.

The media reporting on his latest extension need only to have reprinted their last stories and changed the dates, because it has become rather banal.

Sort of like Numbnutz.

To do him some justice, Numbnuts never expected to win the mayoral throne in 2021.

With a third-rate intellect and second-rate handlers, he won only because of the outgoing mayor's hubris, her worn out playing of the race and sex card and, most importantly, her and her husband's arrest of drug trafficking and illegal weapons charges.

Apart from espousing woke progressive and liberal Democrat agendas, Mahweak had no real programs to grow and improve the City of Rochester.

He DID appoint his cousin to oversee the existing anti-violence initiatives. No surprise there.

Hence his constant reliance on rhetoric about his reinstating failed anti-violence initiatives.

Like Pathways to Peace, which never worked but did provide convenient, high paying jobs for family, friends and Democratic Party favorites.

At the same time his and Shitty Hall's anti-cop attitude have earned them no respect from the Rochester Police Department, who are hard pressed to combat the chaos produced by the power vacuum in Citygov, which is a joke to criminals and no longer trusted by law abiding citizens.

To do Numbnutz some justice again, even if his intentions were well intended, the woke progressivism (of which he is a firm supporter) that has terminally infected our justice system immediately checkmates any remedial action.

First of all, Numbnutz has the Bail Reform Act working against him.

It is also known as "Catch and Release."

It was largely instituted to benefit the Black community, stating that people of color were unfairly penalized by enforcing cash bail against them after they had committed crimes, even violent ones.

If a criminal is too poor to manage paying cash bail, they would therefore be released before his trial without any financial penalties.

The result has been criminals are being released and continue to commit crimes, for which they are arrested, released and then arrested.

Again and again.

Which frustrates law enforcement departments across the state.

It promotes criminality, since criminals now know that, in New York State, there are no consequences to committing crimes.

And since the Bail Reform Act benefits primarily people of color, these criminals return to terrorize the community that the act was supposed to aid!

That is the paradox.

And it was an inherently racist proposal, dreamed up by White woke progressive politicians and sold to the Black community, which bought it without truly understanding its ramifications.

Bluntly, it implies that Blacks and other people of color are inferior (hence their being too poor to pay bail when arrested for crimes they committed) and that violence and criminality are a part of their nature. So we might just as well let them go, as long as they only terrorize people in their own respective communities.

To be sure, depending on the location, liberal Democrat judges were doing something like this long before the Bail Reform Bill was enacted, but now the bill provides those same judges with an excuse when confronted by a frightened, law-abiding community: Their hands are tied! Which, of course, is a lie.

It is this decriminalization of criminality that has been promoted by our toxic She-Devil of a governor, Kathy Hochul and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, asshole, as well as Mahweak that stymies any of their lukewarm, half-hearted attempts to appear they are "fighting" crime.

Other creatures of their ilk are the Monroe County Legislature's loudmouthed, hysterical menopausal La Barnhart (who is in desperate need of hormone replacement therapy to calm her down), as well as Shitty Council's anti-everything establishment Crazy Mary and the gender-confused Stanley Martin.

Their anti-cop attitude merely reinforces their credentials with woke progressive activists, the vast majority of whom are crazy and have no real plans for anything except destroying a society that finds them and their ideas repulsive.

All of them fail to realize when they scream that their opponents are racist that they are, deep down, promoting a racist agenda.

Equity is NOT equality.

All they are doing is giving criminals the opportunity to piss their pants laughing at them while producing anguish and dismay from law-abiding citizens of all colors who beg to be protected from violent criminals, who only seek to live out their lives in some sort of peace and security.

Which woke progressive and liberal Democrat politicians and activists seek to deny them.

In fact, woke progressive activists and liberal Democrat politicians actively fuel criminality and find excuses for riots, vandalism, violence and even murder.

Feral urban humanoids are merely venting their anger at a racist society, activists and politicians say, telling victims that it's "nothing personal."

If victims complain, they are racists!

Or telling victims who share their stories that they are merely drama queens!

So Numbnutz has extended his "State of Emergency" until May 17, when nicer weather will see the usual uptick in crimes in our dying city.

And, yawn, he will probably extend it again and again, failing to realize that, apart from his "sugars," he has offended everyone else, since they have no reason to believe him or have faith in him.

But then, there was never any reason that we should have in the first place.

So, on with the wind!
