The Presidential Election of 2024: And Lo, There shall Be An Ending!
Yesterday's presidential election in the United States made history.
In several different ways, much to the displeasure of woke progressive Democrats.
For only the second time in US history, a president was re-elected to a non-consecutive term of office.
The first time, Grover Cleveland accomplished that feat in 1892.
Donald Trump did it yesterday, despite the tortured efforts of the Democratic National Committee, the corrupt Biden Regime and the equally corrupt Department of Justice to prevent him from running at all!
They gambled and lost.
And, for the second time in US history did the American people reject a DEI hire for president.
The first time was a mere eight years ago when they rejected Billary Clinton of the Clinton Crime Family, whose claim to fame was that she was Monica Lewinsky's ex-lover's wife and another brilliant example of corruption in our body politic.
Playing the sex card didn't work for her.
Nor did it work for Sloppy Joe Biden's second banana and perpetually braying jackass Kamala Harris, although she also played the race card.
That has become rather shopworn, and the majority of the American people have gotten tired of seeing it played.
Or listening to her inane word salad.
Suffice it to say that the big, bad orange man won re-election to the presidency.
Yes, Donald Trump is an egotistical, abrasive megalomaniac.
But he IS pro-America, and that is exactly what the United States needs after four years of the humiliating progressive perversion that is Bidenism, which placed America's interests below the self-serving interests of the Biden Crime Family.
They and their equally corrupt hangers-on were willing to sell out America to enrich themselves while using the excuse of promoting "globalism," sending hundreds of billions of US dollars to aid uncertain allies while forgetting that charity begins at home.
However, despite the fact that I voted for the big, bad orange man, I will not sing out "Happy Days Are Here Again."
Because they are not.
America remains as divided as ever.
It will take years for Trump to dismantle Sloppy Joe's irrational policies and reverse the downward spiral they created, not just in the US but the entire world.
It is equally clear that our closest allies, especially the European Union, are dismayed by Trump's re-election to the presidency, because it means that the bottomless American piggy bank that they so shamelessly have drawn upon for years will be closed.
While I have never chosen to comment about the internal politics of the countries in which my friends reside, I have been rather pissed off by the attitude of some of them regarding the US presidential election, especially those within the European Union.
The antics of the European Union's leadership is hardly inspiring and has produced plenty of division there among its member states.
I suggest that they look to their own problems first.
And learn to live within their means.
As for the US, Trump has been re-elected president.
His incoming administration will have much work to do.
It will not be easy and some of his corrective measures will not be popular.
But they are necessary.
And the American people chose him.
Get used to it.
Hail to the chief!
