Vice on the Arm of Crime: The Donald and Putin Meet in Alaska!
The much-anticipated meeting between The Donald of the United States and Russia's president Vladimir Putin finally occurred yesterday.
In Alaska, of all places.
Alaska originally belonged to the Russian Empire, which sold it to the United States in 1867 for $7.2 million.
Two years ago, after the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Putin demanded that the United States return Alaska to Russia, which even then-President, Sloppy Joe Biden, wasn't senile enough to consider.
While the incredibly stupid Sarah Palin really COULDN'T see Russia from her house, Russia is only 52 miles across the Bering Strait from Alaska.
That was the reason Alaska was chosen to be the site of this historic meeting between two of the three most powerful men in the world.
Only China's Xi wasn't there to make up a threesome and a circle jerk, which is just as well, because the whole thing turned out to be a lot of nothing.
Bupkis.
The other reason that Alaska was chosen to be the venue for this diplomatic and media farce is that the World Court has ordered the arrest of Putin as a war criminal who has committed crimes against humanity.
Had Putin travelled to the US through countries that subscribe to the World Court, he could have been arrested and imprisoned to await his trial.
The US does NOT subscribe to the World Court, so it was safe for him to travel from Siberia to Alaska unmolested.
It is for that same reason that Bibi Netanyahu can fly in and out of the US with the regularity of a homing pigeon, because he, too, has been subjected to the condemnation of the World Court.
Getting back to the "historic" meeting between The Donald and Putin...
The Donald greeted Putin on a red carpet in Anchorage, Alaska late morning yesterday.
Putin looked fit and trim. The Donald, obese, waddled along, his bloated face still sporting his famous "Agent Orange" tan.
After greeting each other without a hug, kiss or grope, there was a brief public meeting with the media, who asked Putin questions about Ukraine, which he pretended not to understand and then left with The Donald for their meeting.
Putin speaks German and English as well as his native Russian. thanks to his days in the KGB, the defunct Soviet Union's version of America's CIA.
And what occurred at the meeting, which lasted a scant two hours before Putin returned to Russia? Who knows?
We DO know that no lunch was offered.
At the press conference shortly before Putin's departure, both he and The Donald stated that the meeting covered significant topics and that there could be no ceasefire or peace deal until the root causes of Russia's aggression against Ukraine were eliminated.
One root "cause" is Ukraine's independence, which Putin would like to end and absorb Ukraine in its entirety into Russia.
Putin has stated previously that there is no such thing as a Ukrainian people or culture, that they are really Russian.
The media was also informed that Putin invited The Donald to Moscow for further "talks."
When that will be is anyone's guess.
So, the war, with its killings and mass destruction will continue, with Russia gaining more Ukrainian territory daily.
Putin has no reason to end the war with Ukraine, since he is winning and doesn't really care how many lives are lost, Ukrainian or Russian, because he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him.
All Putin wants The Donald to do is end economic sanctions against Russia, which is why he brought his own economic advisors to the meeting.
What actually transpired with them is also unknown.
And, despite The Donald's recent criticism of Putin, it is clear that Putin really held all the cards here and, knowing that, The Donald didn't have the guts to call his bluff and attempt to strong arm him and threaten him with the full force of America's might.
While The Donald's PR team will undoubtedly portray this meeting as "successful," it actually accomplished nothing other than to make Putin look strong and The Donald look weak on American soil.
Nothing was accomplished by this meeting other than to get the world's hopes up or to put their nerves on edge.
If The Donald goes to Moscow for the next round of "talks," we know who will have the upper hand there, Putin's home turf.
It won't be the US President.
Ukraine should be very, very afraid, because The Donald really doesn't give a damn about them.
All he cares about is winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
He doesn't deserve it.
