Ding, Dong the Witch is...Retiring!

"Witch?"

Clearly, I misspelt the word I intended to use.

Today, Nancy Pelosi, Democratic "Hag Supreme" of the United States House of Representatives announced that she would not run for re-election in 2026!

Older than Methusaleh, Pelosi was the first woman Speaker of the House and was in Congress for decades.

Forty years, although it seems like hundreds!

She and her husband were able to leverage her position in government and connections into acquiring a personal fortune worth several hundred million dollars, which is not bad considering her relatively modest annual salary as a Congresswoman.

In that, Pelosi and her husband are no different from other shady politicians, notably the Clinton, Schumer and Biden Crime Families, all of whom owe their wealth to insider trading and influence peddling with both US allies and enemies alike.

No politician I ever knew left office poorer than they were when they went in.

In fact, while the government shutdown continues and federal employees are NOT being paid as a result of Democratic intransigence in Congress, Pelosi and her fellow Congressmen and women continue to receive their salaries.

Nice.

Madam Pelosi was even more famous for her unwillingness to work with Republicans in Congress, even though such occasional collaborations would benefit the majority of the American people.

Her rabid pose as a woke liberal progressive Democrat precluded that and her vast wealth insulated and protected her from the effects of pursuing that agenda.

Similarly, her status allowed her to violate COVID lockdown rules to get her hair cut and dyed during the pandemic, as well as allowing both she and her husband to avoid serious consequences for several incidents of DWI (driving while intoxicated).

But Pelosi's crowning glory was her undying hatred for President Donald Trump.

Twice she managed to get him impeached.

And twice she failed to secure President Trump's conviction.

The Donald reciprocated Pelosi's feelings.

When told of Pelosi's decision not to run for re-election in 2026, President Trump offered these kind words: "Good. She's useless, corrupt and evil."

I thought that The Donald was remarkably restrained in his comments about her.

So, what took Madam Pelosi so long to decide to retire?

Well, perhaps being old as the hills and twice as polluted was finally wearing on her.

Perhaps, being from California, she could no longer find any virgins whose blood would maintain her vitality.

Another possibility, broached by the Democrats is that Pelosi was "choosing" and grooming her own successor: Her own daughter.

That way, she would provide the California Democrats (who are not of this reality and probably not of this Earth) and the voters with a virtual fait accompli come election time.

It will be a bit longer to see if that Democratic-inspired rumor has any truth to it, but it seems more likely than not.

At any rate, having made that announcement, Madam Pelosi will now make the rounds on the lecture circuit, receiving costly honorariums in return to increase her already vast wealth.

That should make the poorest of her constituents feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

And, of course, there will always be the obligatory book of her memoirs, which will be heavily ghost-written and end up on every Democrat's coffee table across the country.

And we, the American people, as well as The Donald, have survived decades of her nincompoopery.

That is something to be grateful for.
