Grand Delusion: The Donald in Wonderland!

 

Let's face it, The Donald has become a tiresome boor.

While he has always been a boor, and an egotistical one at that, the boor has become a bore.

And a lying one at that, with delusions of grandeur and a God complex that is supported by his equally ignorant and arrogant Cabinet and MAGA radicals.

Ethically, morally and spiritually bankrupt the lot of them, they are caught in the trap of having to give all to a bloodthirsty, war mongering "Messiah" or be thrust back into the social and political darkness from whence they crawled out of.

So they repeat and embroider upon the lies The Donald always tells, because he, himself has stated that the truth is whatever he says it is.

Therefore, there is no reason for him to provide evidence when he shoots off his mouth to the press or anyone else for that matter.

When pressed to do so, The Donald retaliates by calling them "corrupt." Or "communists." Or "RINOs."

As for tossing the word "corrupt" about when his credibility is questioned, The Donald might have hit the nail on the head, since he knows so much about corruption.

The Trump Family is the most corrupt presidential regime that the US has had since Warren G. Harding and surpasses that of the Clintons and the Bidens when they were in office.

That is no mean feat.

Yet The Donald keeps babbling on about how the economy is wonderful in the US, about how he won the war and destroyed Iran in one day, about Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu is HIS subordinate and that everyone loves him except for leftists, communists and Democrats.

Clearly The Donald is living in Lalaland, because it has been made manifest to the whole world that he is NOT playing with a full deck.

And he fulfilled NONE of his campaign promises!

His exorbitant tariffs wrecked the economy here while pissing off the whole world.

His and Benny's war of aggression against Iran is still ongoing after more than three months with no end in sight.

Iran's retaliation by closing he Strait of Hormuz has not only adversely affected the global economy but that of the US as well.

That Benny refuses to obey The Donald's demands that Israel cease its military actions in Lebanon illustrates his lack of control in that area.

The only "successful" foreign adventure undertaken by The Donald has been to bomb fishing boats in the Caribbean Sea and kidnap the dictator of Venezuela, leading to a change in regime there, while using similar tactics against Cuba's regime.

Basically, he is a school-yard bully threatening smaller and weaker countries, where he sees himself as something of a hero, yet he has failed to accomplish the same thing with stronger global powers, who are choosing to distance themselves from The Donald AND the US, politically, economically and militarily, to the detriment of the US's standing in the world.

The Donald continues to insult and belittle them, widening the breach between the US and its closest allies, totally oblivious to the damage that he has done.

Nor have his attempts to aggrandize the Trump name in the US been successful.

His grand ballroom is not being built, after he destroyed a wing of the White House to accomplish it.

His putting his name on the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts was ordered by the courts to be removed.

His plans to build a Trump "Arc de Triomphe" has been put on hold.

His plans for a glorious celebration of America's 250th birthday are looking more like an opportunity for him to shoot of his mouth about himself rather than a patriotic national event.

The Donald believes that HE will be the draw to these events, not the celebrities that he invited to participate in them but declined the offer.

That's because he has deluded himself into believing that the majority of Americans love him, which is increasingly proving to be untrue, just like most of what he says.

Just as an aside, the result of a poll conducted in Belgium recently as 60% of Belgians saw The Donald as a bigger enemy of world peace than China! Clearly Belgians aren't in love with him, either! 

Anyway, it looks like it is going to be one great big yawn.

But he will claim that it was a great success and bolster his fragile ego.

And so will his Cabinet.

The Donald at least has increasingly obvious reasons why he will say this: He is old, unhealthy, tottering into senility, which is apart from his megalomania.

He really needs to be under medical supervision.
