Italy's Giorgia Meloni: The Only Man at the G7 Meeting.

Let's face it.

The Donald is a rude, crude boor.

He has become just as much an embarrassment as Sloppy Joe Biden and Kamelhead Harris ever were.

Even worse are The Donald's delusions that he is lord god king of the universe and a messiah that was personally sent by God.

The Donald has offended friends and foes alike, ignoring the facts that our foes are NOT frightened by him and that our friends are slowly but surely disengaging themselves from the US.

Yet while such disengagement is ongoing and under full sail, our erstwhile friends and allies have found it necessary to put up with The Donald's crassness and kiss his ass until the process is complete.

Such was the case at the recent G7 gathering in France, where The Donald showed up an hour late to a meeting with no apologies but state that HE was the boss.

The attendees nervously laughed it off.

Worse came later when The Donald claimed that Italy's prime minister, Conservative Giorgia Meloni, "begged" him to be photographed with him.

The Donald "consented," he said, because he "felt sorry for her."

Her response was simple.

The Donald's statement was totally fabricated, she said.

"Italy and I do not beg!"

In short, The Donald was a liar.

She had grown a set of balls where none of the other leaders attending G7 had.

It is reminiscent of the speech made by the Empress Theodora of Byzantium when the empire was threatened to be torn apart by the Nika Riots in AD 532,

Viewed merely as a woman with a shady past, she addressed her husband and the generals around him about the situation, beginning with "Whether it be for a woman to be an example of courage to men is neither here nor there; in a time of such desperate danger, one must do what one can."

You can google the full text of her speech, which makes for insightful reading.

This talk shamed the powerful men of the empire, her arguments won the day and the empire was saved.

Years later, at Theodora's death, even her worst enemy, Procopius, stated "This day died the only man in the empire."

Back to the present: Giorgia Meloni had enough of The Donald's lies and insults and called him out on them.

She was the only man at the G7 meeting!

And it was ironic.

Giorgia Meloni was a great admirer of The Donald.

She was the only world leader to attend his second coronation...I mean, his second inauguration.

The Donald constantly flattered her, too, making much of her good looks and femininity.

Then, with his and Benny's war against Iran, their mutual admiration society fell apart.

She refused to commit Italy to their war of aggression.

She refused to allow military planes destined to be used in this war to land in Italy.

She refused to take The Donald's side against the current Pope.

The Donald countered with his usual insults against those who refused to be manipulated by him, but his comment regarding the photograph at G7 was the final straw.

Girogia Meloni had had enough.

And she let The Donald and the entire world know it in no uncertain terms.

Perhaps she will become an example of courage to the mostly male leaders of the world.

And all I can say is "Viva Giorgia!"
